Hi, Not sure about this. I think it is useful to be able to reset the terminal without losing history - although you can do that via the Edit menu as well. In KDE 4 we do support another control sequence from Xterm to clear the history (see http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158235) *** Bug 288913 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** While it's nice to have a feature to clear the scrollback and keep history, I can confirm that this is still true, the 'reset' command just add newlines, without reseting the scrollview. this works correctly in vte and xterm. This bothers me a lot too. Mostly due to the inconsistency when compared to other terminal emulators. |
