I agree, do not check markup! I perceive such behaviour as a bug. Kile spell-checker was able to do that in KDE 3.5 but since in KDE 4.x Kile is also using the default KDE spell-checker (as Kate etc.), this ability disappeared. I suppose that's a problem with that default KDE spell-checker. This works at least in 4.4 and higher, no? At least the syntax file shows that only text and comments is supposed to be spell checked. If not please provide a file that shows the behavior and reopen this bug report. |
