Description S. Burmeister 2008-08-03 17:23:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

If you compare the vertical space in-between the menus and the toolbar in konqueror and other kde4 applications, e.g. dolphin or kwrite, it differs.

This makes konqueror look bad, wastes vertical space, which in times of widescreen and eeepcs is precious.

It works in konq3 because the logo (icon) is not put into the menu-bar, where it does not belong. If you do not want to put it into the toolbar, put it into the statusbar, at the end of the day it is nothing else but a "loading"-status.
