I have the same problem. When I mount it with pmount, using konqueror, the charset is ok, but when i mount it on gui (dolphin or "recently plugged devices" plasmoid) the charset isn't correct, with ??? instead of accents, like á, ã ... The problem appeared after the update to kde 4.1 . I've the same problem on Kubuntu 8.10.1 & openSUSE 11.0 (In reply to comment #1) > I have the same problem.
