Description Michal Witkowski 2008-07-29 15:59:49 UTC
Version: 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0) (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), Arch Linux)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25-ARCH

Using Arch Linux KDEmod 4.1.00 (actually vanilla KDE).

The Location toolbar put right of the Main toolbar doesn't remember it's position (both in locked-unlocked state), after konqueror restart.

Ways to reproduce:
- use a clear account
- open konqueror
- Configure toolbar > Location toolbar , remove Location label. Apply (actually the problem may accour without this step)
- hide Bookmark toolbar
- move the Location toolbar right of the Main toolbar so that the icons don't overlap and all of the Main toolbar is visible
- save view profile (not necessary for the bug to show)
- close konqueror
- kill the remaining background konqueror process (or restart KDE session)
- open konqueror

Bad behaviour:
- the location bar is put in the same row as the main toolbar, however it's moved to the left, hiding most of the main toolbar's icons.
- sometimes the location toolbar is put so much to the left that the main toolbar isn't visiable at all and the location toolbar appears to start at a negative value (it's left side isn't visible including the toolbar handle)

Expected behaviour:
- konqueror remembers the position of the location toolbar (presumably in pixels) between restarts

Also, I tried to go around this bug by puting the "Location bar" element in the Main toolbar and hiding the Location toolbar completely. However, after restarting konqueror (in another session or by killing konqueror background process), instead of the address bar (input field) a label is present "Location bar".
