I can confirm this, it is really annoying. The summary has been changed on this issue, and it has been changed to a wish. I would like to state for the record, that this used to work in versions before kde4: in a tab, when middle clicking a link, it would open in a new tab (in the background), just like konqueror did, and still does. Right now, one needs to right click, and select open tab on the menu, but it opens the tab with a focus change. I consider the middle click opening in the current tab a bug. Perhaps not an important bug, but a bug nevertheless. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 182807 *** |
