This is unfortunately not possible atm. since programs generally don't export which drops they support and don't have a default action for drops which would need to be dropped on a certain field in the app. Maybe what to do can be learnt by the taskbar or configured in some place. For example one rule can be "when I drop a file on a kate taskbar button, open this file with kate" (that is launching a command or executing a dbus command to the corresponding instance). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 212081 *** |
