Description Alexandre 2008-07-08 17:19:48 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Wish: auto-create sub-albums by MONTH (instead of date) when downloading from camera

Simply add an option to auto-create sub-albums by MONTH instead of date (or as an additionnal option) when downloading from camera. This way the sub-albums would make reasonnably sized folders.

Thanks!

Yes, this would be very reasonable, as I use both digiKam and f-spot to transfer my photos. F-spot has a good system to create sub-folders by date.

Example:

2009 (year)
 \_ 01 (month)
     \_ 26 (day)

Also a feature to modify existing album/folder structure to this based on EXIF tags would be ++ :)

Another entry to take a care about auto album creation.
