Thanks for the report, at the first sight looks like a strigi issue. Would it be possible that you can attach a full backtrace (the interesting part does not contain any debugging info)? See http://techbase.kde.org/index.php?title=Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Thanks in advance! Even if I disable Nepomuk, it crashes. I installed kdelibs-dbg, but there seems to be no dolphin-dbg in this repo: ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu hardy maina ok this seems to be a duplicate bug. I just found out that it seems to have something to do with video files on that nfs share, not the share itself:
