.torrent files are associated with ktorrent 4

using kde 4.0.5

I am not sure if this is related to Dolphin or to Ktorrent.

It works well here on trunk and with KDE 4.0.5 (Suse packages). @Finex: it would be great if you could check on your system too whether it works, so that we get a hint whether it might be Kubuntu specific :-) Thanks in advance!

I've got both kget and ktorrent installed, kget is the default application for open .torrent, before ktorrent (which I can find in the "open with" menu action).
If I switch the applications order (before ktorrent and after kget), clicking on a .torrent file will open ktorrent without any problem.
This seems more likely a packaging problem on kubuntu.

(I'm using trunk compiled a couple of days ago)

I'll set this issue to WORKSFORME. All duplicate bug reports are (K)Ubuntu related and I agree to Finex that this is a packaging issue.

I am seeing this behavior, but with kate from both Dolphin and Konqueror. When launching the second (and all subsequent files) in kate, I get the error.

My setup: Kubuntu 8.10 KDE 4.2 from kubuntu-experimental PPA.

Using Dolphin or Konqueror open text file with kate.
  --> works fine
Leaving Kate open, open second text file from Dolphin or Konqueror.
  --> Receive error "KDEInit could not launch '/usr/bin/kate'.
  --> But the file opens as expected (as second open document in kate)

It will never be solved if not kept open.
