With desktop effects enabled most of the dashboard on my primary screen has a white background and on my secondary screen has no dashboard at all. See attached screenshot.

With desktop effects disabled I get bug 155808.

OpenGL on nVidia.

dashboard only shows on the screen you have the cursor on.

as for the white background, that's a composition problem.. not much that can be done in plasma about it.

If you Alt-Tab away from the dashboard, the blur-effect still stays on,
but it's noticeably lighter than before.
It'd make sense to just disable Alt-Tab completely,
else some wierd things (screenshot attached) will be appearing again and again.
