You already can log online/offline/new nickname messages to a file using the Notifications in your Settings menu. There are no notification events for the last items you suggested. afaik, can't i see people go online/offline when i not have a conversation window open. Therefore (and those other events) are usefull to log to a global file. Yes, and as I said you already can do that. This wish basically boils down to having events for receiving/sending stuff. Well, i first really did'nt notice the log functionality there but it can do what i want. But this is not the first place too look when you search for the log system, on the other hand is it possible to specify different actions at a change. Which is nice. But i still miss the "avatar change" and the "nick change" events. The changed avatar could be shown at a popup in the tray for example. Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat. |
