Description Diederik van der Boor 2008-06-07 13:01:52 UTC
Version:           3.0.80 (using 4.00.80 (KDE 4.0.80 >= (KDE 4.1 Beta1), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc.exe
OS: Microsoft Windows (i686) release 5.1 (XP Professional)

When opening files in Kate at Windows, it opens the KDE4 bin directory by default. It should open the home folder (or my documents) folder instead.
Comment 1 Patrick Spendrin 2008-06-12 16:43:22 UTC
That is not true (Kwrite opens in the current directory). Nevertheless it should open in the home directory probably.
Comment 2 Christoph Cullmann 2008-08-13 11:02:33 UTC
I don't think so, it should obey the current working directory, like on unices.
Comment 3 Diederik van der Boor 2008-08-16 15:26:14 UTC
It depends on what all other Windows applications do, I'd vote to do exactly the same.
