Correction. View modes work but cannot be switched at run-time. Here using: Qt: 4.4.3 KDE: 4.1.86 (KDE 4.1.86 (KDE 4.2 >= 20081221)) kdelibs svn rev. 901624 / kdebase svn rev. 901624 kdemultimedia svn rev. 900744 on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.10 View modes works and can be switched at run time. Can anyone else confirm this ? Thanks :) View modes work and can be switched at runtime here with: Qt 4.6.2 KDE 4.4.2 (using only KDE packages from ubuntu) on Ubuntu Lucid x86_64 kernel 2.6.32-22 Also works with juk from svn r1152209 (but still with other KDE packages from ubuntu). Maybe it's time to close the bug. Yes, I can confirm view modes work. Not sure when I fixed them (or if it was an upstream fix). Note that Tree View takes forever if you have a large collection. :( Assuming the fix was in KDE 4.2, I haven't actually noticed this bug in forever and we have a reporter saying it worked in a 4.2 prerelease. |
