If I remove a selected file or folder, e.g. at list position 10 in detailed view, the selection is at position 9 after deletion action. (For me) this feels unnatural. The following elements fill the gap, the selection stays at position 10 and the former "next" element is now the "current" from the selection's point of view. At least that is what I would expect. :)

I agree. I'll try to fix this before KDE 4.1 is out.

In version 15.08.3 the selection is removed completely so this report does not apply anymore.
The new behaviour is much better.
