I agree. Good thing is that the tooltips are currently broken in the KDE4 version and is completely disabled there :) I agree that this should be made optional. I hate it. *** Bug 166734 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I'd also like to see an option to disable this feature. Strangely it is possible to diable the tooltips for the message list but not for the folder tree. Starting with KMail from the KDE 4.2 release, you now have the options: always show tooltips; never show tooltips; only show tooltips with the folder name is obscured. This configuration option can be found in the context menu of the Folder column header. You will not find it in the KMail->Settings configuration dialog. So closing this. Allen thank you for the fix, however this should be in settings, because other tooltips options are there. What should I do -- another report or reopening this one as a wish (*)? yes, please open another bug. perhaps a Folder tab under the Appearance page makes some sense. Not sure. |
