Have you checked trash-folder, kmail moves those calendar emails to trash after it's on calendar. Indeed, I found it in the trash. So the fix would be to not move it anywhere. No user would ever suspect it in the trash. The Principle of Least Surprise should be honoured more than convenience or compatibility in this case. Josef, this behavior is configurable, but on by default, as people in a corporate context who get a lot of invitations really want them to be moved away automatically. YOu can turn it off via kiosk, or by setting the config key in your kmailrc manually. I don't remember if there's gui for the option too. kmail.kcfg should tell you. Cheers. Closing. This can be solved better, e.g. by having a dialogue with a don't-ask-again flag. This is precisely such a situation where it would be needed. I'm not working in a corporate context, yet I receive such mails occasionally, and I'm a big fan of 'secure by default', as well as 'logical by default'. I changed severity to wishlist, but please don't close the bug without fixing the underlying issue. |
