Description Nick Warne 2008-01-20 17:00:51 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: GCC 3.4.6
OS: Linux

SVN updated Jan 15th 2008.

I have noticed that locking screen is OK (on my system required, chown root.root kcheckpass; chmod 4755 kcheckpass) and works fine when logging in again.

But if I move mouse/hit a key to get the login dialogue up again, hitting cancel (either by mouse or tabbing to [cancel] via keyboard, or hitting 'escape' key) seems to take away focus, but the dialogue remains on screen and cannot be removed.

I do not use a screensaver timer - just blankscreen for locking.

the problem is not that the dialog does not go away, but that the screen is not repainted after the dialog is gone.
