When I want to logout/shutdown there is a nice dialog, which asks what to do.
But the greyed background appears very slowly.

I have the ati graphics driver installed and with KDE 3.5.8 everything is accelerated.

PS: I think this "Onscreen" category is not the right place, but I don't find another which is related to my problem.

I think you are posting a bug about kde4?
