Sentry Crash Report:

Description Maciej Pilichowski 2007-11-15 19:14:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

It is an old bug for me, but since I don't know how to reproduce it I am filling a report.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not -- I have 50% chance that if I come back to running computer the screen will be on. However -- since I set Kpowersave too, it is somehow related to events maybe in KDE? because KPS does not kick in too.

I use "blank" screen saver. Till now I didn't spot any pattern what could prevent the screensaver from starting.

fixed for kde 4.0 and possibly 3.5.9 (if not, it's wontfix), btw.

I am fully aware of that report but...

whoever still has some problem with 3.5.7 should file reopen their duplicate or file a new one.

so I posted another one. Is this really fixed?

wouldn't you think that a later comment supercedes a former one?
Comment 4 Maciej Pilichowski 2007-11-15 20:29:15 UTC
Sure, but you wrote that you *thought* it was fixed, not that it was fixed :-) Ok, I'll wait for 4.0 and see.
