I agree it would be useful, but it is not possible as Microsoft has never opened the specs for .pub filetype, they don't even have a stand-alone viewer ... these days there are alternatives such as Scribus, LibreOffice, and markup per https://opensource.com/alternatives/microsoft-publisher - is this still a need for you Steve? Changing to NEEDSINFO->WAITINGFORINFO while pending a response from an interested party.
