Sorry, this "bug" needs to be in the wishlist, but the error message "You have not specified a valid short description Please enter a short description for your problem so we can easily identify your bug." has cleaned the selection. Sorry :-/ I've been asked to add a "palette of stamps" previously and I think it's a good idea. However, it's unlikely that I will find time to implement it soon. In the meantime, here is a way to simulate that functionality: Draw the shapes that you frequently need and save them in a file. When you need these shapes, open this file and copy and paste them as needed, with the selection mode set to Transparent. Also, you can clone a pasted selection by holding CTRL and then dragging the selection to another place. Paint in Windows 7 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Paint_on_Windows_7.png) implements much of Yoan's suggestion (including triangles, hexagons, arrows ...) - I wonder if Microsoft reads competitors' wishlists? :-) In any case, it attests to the usefulness of such features. *** Bug 391862 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** An image annotator KPart that might be useful here is currently under development. See https://phabricator.kde.org/T6321 In my opinion, it wold be better to open one issue for each form - one for arrow, other for triangles, and so on - because not all will be implemented at once, and each issue could be closed when the feature was implemented. By this way it would also be possible to create a poll so that users could choose the one with the highest priority. Just one comment more: Of course we - the Kolourpaint users - would like to keep Kolourpaint a simple and lightweight drawing tool, but a little bit more powerful :-) Best regards and thank you for maintaining this software for so long. |
