Changing severity to wishlist. See also bug 109160. As text search is a very basic function and raw emails are rather messy, I am still of the opinion that this is an actual bug. On the other hand, adding text search should be trivial, so I hope the bug will not be open for a long time, anyway ;) *** Bug 148460 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Thomas: Do you have any ETA on the implementation or is it still in the mist of time? Not trying to push or nag, I am just interested in the answer :) There are no plans to implement this. Reason is the low number of developers of KMail. We are focusing on other things, like porting to KDE4 and Akonadi. Patches (for KDE4) are welcome though. See also bug 148509. *** Bug 149104 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** In light of the impeding KDE4 release, I am going through all bug reports I am involved in. To the best of my knowledge, this issue is still open. Not exactly a duplicate - but it would be somewhat smarter to use a real editor with search functionality to display the source code instead of writing a new search function *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 109160 *** |
