I cannot reproduce it -- but there are many variables that can play a role here, like the window manager you are using, the window decoration, the depth of your screen or whether you are using the opengl option or not. I have been toying around with those options, I found the bug only occurred when I was using 1280x1024, window transparencies and the opengl option. I reproduced it many times, and then the bug disappeared. I believe that the system ran a fsck after so many reboots, and that probably solved the problem. I'm marking this as resolved.
