This is a new feature, not a bug. If your KDE is buggy thats not KDevelop's fault. Also I can't find any autosave setting in KWrite, nor does it save anywhere if I kill it. The move to wish list is appropriate.
As a matter of fact, it *is* KDevelop's fault if I
lose my work to a buggy KDE system since it should
have an autosave feature in place in case of an
eventuality like that, just like "^z" is a standard
feature of editors in case a mistake is made.

I didn't say that its not KDevelops fault if you loose your work. I said its not kdevelops fault if your system is buggy. moving this to kate. Automatic saving of files should be done in the editor part. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 103234 *** |
