you'll need to upgrade to 3.5.6 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 140531 *** 3.5.6 makes no difference - the issue is still there unfortunately. The bug is valid also for 3.5.7. Can't confirm w/post-3.5.8, but may be I am looking wrong Created attachment 21997 [details]

I'm sorry, but I've just upgraded to 3.5.8 (from slackware current packages),
and the problem is still here.
Are you sure the bug is resolved? Or there is something in my configuration?
I see. One need to be in the 'tree' mode for it to happen. How can I enable the "tree" mode? looking at the previous attachment (https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=21997&action=view) you must click on the "opzioni" (options?) link, on the dark-gray header, just next the tread title (in this case "VIM, cancellare tutte le righe vuote") Thanks Vito. I've reproduced the bug in both 3.5.9 and trunk (r816050). Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 10 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved. Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes. For security issues, please see: https://kde.org/info/security/ Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML. Greetings Christoph Cullmann |
