Description Paolo Peruzzi 2007-01-25 10:03:23 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: 4.1.1-r3

Beta version of google groups never worked correctly in konqueror. Only the upper half of the page is displayed for the message window.
Now google groups Beta is official and there is no way to have the old version..

you'll need to upgrade to 3.5.6

3.5.6 makes no difference - the issue is still there unfortunately.
Comment 3 Vito De Tullio 2007-10-30 12:34:31 UTC
The bug is valid also for 3.5.7.
Comment 4 Maksim Orlovich 2007-10-30 15:22:51 UTC

google groups seen on konqueror 3.5.8

I'm sorry, but I've just upgraded to 3.5.8 (from slackware current packages),
and the problem is still here.

Are you sure the bug is resolved? Or there is something in my configuration?
Comment 6 Maksim Orlovich 2007-11-04 16:00:22 UTC
I see. One need to be in the 'tree' mode for it to happen.
Comment 7 FiNeX 2008-06-01 21:55:04 UTC
How can I enable the "tree" mode?
Comment 8 Vito De Tullio 2008-06-03 07:50:29 UTC
looking at the previous attachment (https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=21997&action=view)
you must click on the "opzioni" (options?) link, on the dark-gray header, just next the tread title (in this case "VIM, cancellare tutte le righe vuote")
Comment 9 FiNeX 2008-06-03 08:57:34 UTC
Thanks Vito.
I've reproduced the bug in both 3.5.9 and trunk (r816050).
Comment 10 Justin Zobel 2021-03-21 00:25:29 UTC

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
