Description Damir Perisa 2006-12-27 16:06:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
Compiler: gcc linux i686
OS: Linux

wish for support of multiscreen configurations for kslideshow:

when you run mergedFB or xinerama and the screensaver "kslideshow" activates, it shows the pics in the middle of the desktop - in case of 2 screens, this makes it exactly be half of the pic on one screen, half on the other.

choosing random position helps only slightly.

ideally, it would be to be able to choose what screen should show the slideshow or even have both screens showing different pics. (this is the case when you choose wallpaper to be a slideshow and is extremely usefull + nice!)

The screen locker architecture changed with Plasma 5. The classic screen savers are no longer supported. The 4.x series won't see any further feature development, so this feature request won't be implemented as it doesn't apply to our current version any more. The current implementation in Plasma 5 handles multiple screens quite well.

I want to thank you for your feature suggestion and I'm sorry that we were not able to provide the requested feature before we retired the affected component.
