Is this still an issue with a recent version of kmail? That exact problem no longer occurs, although there are still problems when kmail and another mail client are both accessing the same IMAP account. Specifically, every message not read in kmail appears twice, and reading one or both copies in the other mail client will not cause the message to be marked as read in kmail. Once the message is read in kmail, the second copy disappears and the message is correctly marked as read. That's another bug that is already reported in bugzilla, I'm sure. Can you look for it yourself? |
