Editing /etc/fstab for removable media is wrong!!! HAL and KDE's MediaManager should do everything for you. B U T: KDE's MediaManager is very limited in setting mount-options - i.e. it doesn't know iocharset, codepage, dmask, fmask, umask, etc., yet. => Accessing NTFS-formated external drives i.e. is impossible with present KDE!
