Description Dierk Hentrich 2006-09-02 14:29:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20060901 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-13)
OS: Linux

If kmail has been configured to show some IMAP accounts and the password is not stored, it asks for the password. If for some reason I do not want to enter the password and I cancel the dialog, kmail waits a few seconds and asks again for the password of the account. This ends in a infinite loop doing small steps and then cancelling the dialog which jumps to the foreground.

I would expect that canceling the password request is honoured by kmail and it does not try to open the account until the user explicitly want to open it.
