hal-device
I guess this behaviour is perfectly explained by bug #132810 when gphoto2 --auto-detect shows 2 cameras then there are 2 cameras attached Yup. gphoto and hal works well. gphoto and hal-device output was taken while both attached. |
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux For some reason my IXUS 40 is recognized as IXUSS 55 and reverse... kamera ioslave works somehow, but buggy: - Camera unplugged shows me 3 devices (IXUS 40, IXUS 55, USB PTP) - Camera IXUS _55_ plugged shows 2 devices (IXUS _40_, USB PTP) - Camera IXUS _40_ plugged shows 2 devices (IXUS _55_, USB PTP) the camera displayed is the wrong one - odd behaviour The whole rest works fine (exept recognition and the link). I would appreciate someone fixing this.
