0.12.0 works. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 131598 *** Thanks. But 0.12.0 is out of Portage yet. Or should I report this to portage bug tracker? |
Version: 0.12.1-r1/0.12.1-r2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc-3.4.6-r1 OS: Linux After upgraded to net-im/kopete-0.12.1-r2 (gentoo portage) from r1 kopete cannot connect to ICQ-server. ("The ICQ server thinks, the client you're using is too old") I've tried to downgrade back to kopete-0.12.1-r1, but with the same problems. A Mirabelis-ICQ-user have told me that since today connecting with a client older than 5.1 isn't possible anymore. Maybe helpful?!
