Since I'm using an SSL connection, I also see the following types of messages: :irc.example.org 275 My_Nick Other_person_Nick :is connected via SSL (secure link) 13:37:45 This is especially annoying for IRC channels with lots of people connected. Oddly, not everybody on the channel generates these (but most do). @alex The message also regularly appears for every IRC user that is in Kopete's contact list.
