Description marazm 2006-06-27 09:53:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

If "Most often visited" feature contains item with loooooong URL, then menu showing most often visited pages gets width equal to screen width thus covering other menu items. As "Most often visited" is first item under "View" menu, clicking on "View" and then navigating down in menu expands "Most often visited" submenu and I'm unable to access other "View" menu items.

Solution: show only part of long URLs i.e. by setting maximum width of "Most often visited" submenu widget.

In this screenshot You can clearly see how "Most often visited" submenu covers
other "View" ("Skatīt" in Latvian) menu items.

Test case for this bug.

Confirmed with KDE 3.5.5 / Kubuntu 6.10. See test case online at
http://www.mutube.com/x/kde/bug129894.html - visit this URL enough times for it
to appear in your Most Visited list. The title ("kdekdekdekde.. etc") will
cover the View drop down menu.
