Sentry Crash Report:

Description wuselwu 2006-06-12 08:03:26 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 4.1.1
OS: Linux

I report this error for SUSE 10.1/KDE 3.5.3, but as far as I remember I have had this erratic behaviour for ages ;-).

Situation:

In my Kontact / KOrganizer-setup the birthdays from the addressbook are displayed (I don't know whether the described problem also applies to other kinds of dates).
When clicking on the date entry in the Kontact summary or the Korganizer calendar view, a small windows comes up with the details for this birthday-date.
This window also contains a small envelope symbol which is meant to open a KMail window to send a mail to the birthday child.

But:
The Kmail window is opened with a completely messed up email adress for the corresponding person. A
"Vorname Nachname <vorname.nachname@provider.de>"
is e.g. formated as
"Vorname Nachname > <Vorname Nachname <vorname.nachname@provider.de>
which obviously will give errors when trying to send the mail.
