I'd say this is correct, as you can only specify a file _name_ but not a path+name. Changing to wish I don't mean to be querulous but the tool does find folders by name, not just files. This is what seems inconsistent to me. Changing to wish Kfind in 4.6 can search for files+folders, files, folder and many may file types. So a I se no reason to leave this bug/wish open, it is resolved as fixed. Objections? Resolved in later versions of KFind. (tested and working under v24.08.4) Bug report closed as it relates to a very old and unmaintained version of KFInd. |
