I have kmail 1.9.1 and kontact 1.2. The crash will only occur if I have kmail open within kontact. If I have the two open separately, kontact will not crash upon being closed. Neither will kmail. Hi,
I've another backtrace on Debian/Sid on AMD64 with self compiled KDE 3.5 branch:

*** Bug 127699 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Confirm on KDE 3.5.2, Kontact 1.2 and Kmail 1.9.2. Ubuntu 6.01 Dapper Sorry, it is kmail 1.9.1 I have found that removing the IMAP account from Kmail and re-adding it solved the crashes. Same crash. Removing IMAP accounts allows me to start Kmail by itself, but if I try kontact alone it crashes. Kmail version is 1.9.5 on KDE 3.5.5 on kubuntu 6.10 (2.6.17-10-generic ...i686) on AMD 64 Dual Core 3800+ This crash is not happening on my laptop where I'm running Kubuntu (same kernel) on AMD 64 (single core) 3400+. #2 shows why KABC::ResourceFile should NOT use NetAccess! But I'm not sure this is related to the original bug report: is everyone here using a "remote file resource" for his addressbook? David, did you mean my comment? I don't use a "remote file resource". Ah, sorry, KABC::ResourceFile::save is a local .ics file. Which makes the use of NetAccess even more useless... Hi, for this reason NetAccess isn't used any longer in 3.5.6 ;) Ciao, Tobias *** Bug 146586 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Why was this bug closed as FIXED? Which SVN commit fixed this problem? The same problem still appears in KDE 3.5.7 in bug 146586. |
