Installed from:    Fedora RPMs

Created a new event, press OK and choose IMAP resource from dialog. It fails with an error as in the description. I choose 'Cancel' from still open entry editor window and it closes. However the entry *was* stored into IMAP resource. It is immediately visible in calendar.

If I disable IMAP resource from resource list (by unchecking it), all IMAP resources disappear and come back again when enabling it. Thus this is different from bug 106647 where nothing from IMAP resource is visible.

So, the error dialog is wrong, there is no problem in storing the event. Just should get rid of the error what makes the use of calendar quite confusing.

IMAP server is dovecot from RHEL4/CentOS4 (dovecot-0.99.11-2.EL4.1).

i have something like this on my system.  what is odd, is i that can edit it correctly after i restart kontact.

i do see this error when i write the event though:
kresources: ERROR: Communication problem in ResourceKolab::addIncidence()

I have nearly the same behavior. Dialog says "Unable to save" but it is saved and visible in KMail or any other client. But my KOrganizer doesn't show these entries. I think this bug is the same or part of bug 106647.

Same here. With Event, TODO and Journal entries. Sometimes the false error appears even twice. KOrganizer version 3.5.7; IMAP server courier.
