Do you mean the Redirect feature? If yes, then I cannot confirm. It works as
expected on my system (OpenSuse 10.0 KDE 3.5.1 RPMs, KMail 1.9.1).
I did said "Im using revision 506221." didnt u saw it?! That implies that im using branch_3.5 Technically, no, it doesn't imply that. But he didn't ask which version you were using: he just said which version he was using. I cannot confirm this either, using 3.5 revision 505606. Since there's no such thing as "Reforward->Resend", I tried Forward->Redirect and Send Again. All of them worked. Now im using revision 511437 and with Forward->Redirect the mails are sent to me instead to the chosen address. *** Bug 131996 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 157856 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I confirm that in KMail 1.9.7, choosing Forward|redirect asks for an email address and then sends the message to the original recipient. I am running Kmail 1.9.10 on KDE 3.5.10-1.fc9. When I use the Message -> Forward -> Redirect function the redirected message does reach the destination address that I specify. The problem I see is that Kmail somehow replaces the original message senders' email address with the email address of my own account from which I redirected the message. Interestingly when I look at the message in the destination address that I specified the From: line still contains the original senders' name as I would expect. I'm also seeing this bug with Kmail 1.12.0 (KDE 4.3.0). If i redirect to someone, it does not go TO: that person. It goes TO: me, the recipient of the original message. Looking at the message in plain text from the Sent folder, the Resent-To: header is correct. Just wanted to say that the email does get delivered. |
