Yes! I have to put a word in for this one. In addition to manually created bookmarks, it would be nice to also have automatic bookmarks created (per track) when I stop listening to a track. Of course you wouldn't want to do this for all tracks. I would want to have a way to mark some tracks as "persistent" or "audiobook" or something to enable auto-bookmarking on that track. I spend a lot of time seeking around huge audio book files to find the point where I last listened. *** Bug 130214 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 136370 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I vote for this feature too! I suggest that you implement podcast bookmarking a similar way to how the ipod does it. When you are listening to a podcast file and you stop/skip the track, save in the database the position it was listened up to. When the podcast file is played again, simply recall the played from position. This allows you to listen to several podcasts, then music, then jump back to where you were in each podcast when you like. I also really would like to see this feature in amarok, so I`m voting for a bookmarking implementation By the way, it's on the todo for Amarok2, so we do our best to get it into 2.0. Moving to Amarok 2 for Cory ;-) |
