I am continually sending unmodified replys to newsgroups that consist of nothing except a block of quoted text. This kind of embarrassing, e.g.:

I don't know why this happens, as I cannot find a repeatable bug in KMail, I'll just have to presume that I have a split personality that does nothing but send unmodified replys to newsgroups. However...

It would be useful if KMail popped up a warning dialog confirming that one wants to send an unmodified reply (unless reply is to a .*-request@.* email address), the same way it pops up a warning about sending a message with no subject.

Ah, I noticed that when I accidentally popped up a reply window, I thought "must close window", but my mice fingers thought "ooh that send button looks like a nice way to close the window". I caught myself just in time, this time.

Still, it would be nice if KMail warned me when trying to send an unmodified reply (as with no subject).

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
