I cannot reproduce the described issue with KDE3.4.2 and KDE3.5. Please see the attached screenshot. Perhaps you are using a bad build or have some other problem. Generally this is not really a problem. Just click *ANYWHERE* and the popup will disappear. Or don't open the popup at all: there is a tooltip that shows the volume, and you can use the mouse-wheel for regulating the volume. If you can't live with that, you could try an alternative version (other linux distribution or an other KDE version). Created attachment 14068 [details]
Correct placement of the Popup
One extra comment: Because KDE3.5.0 contains a fix for the popup placement, I do presume that this problem is actually fixed. Thus closing this bug report. |
