We are using the standard KDirOperator module. Does the file dissapear if you update the browser view (you can add a reload button to the filesystem browser toolbar in the configuration dialog). Hmm, yes it does disappear. But imho it should detected automatically if a file has been removed, just as it is done as on local file systems. Also, having two different refresh buttons is highly counterintuitive. Is this still the case in the latest stable version of KDE (v4.10 or higher) ?
