Description Ingo Klöcker 2005-12-12 11:13:26 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.5.0 Level "a" , SUSE 9.3 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.9-default

This one is probably related to my other bug report (cf. bug #118167), or maybe not.

Camera is plugged in and turned on. media:/camera shows my camera as folder. Good. But when I click on the icon (in Icon View) nothing happens. When I select the Tree View and I click on the [+] then I get the following:

[+] Canon PowerShot A75
[-] Canon PowerShot A75

Clicking (again) on the [+] I get another entry. This can be repeated ad infinitum.

I second this bug. The exact same thing happens here with Ubuntu (Kubuntu) 6.06, KDE 3.5.4-0ubuntu1-dapper2 packages.

This might be related to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118167 and https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/48717.

This bugs is not a bug itself, but seems a consequence of #125696 or the like.

The primary bug might be the broken camera:/ slave.

kio media is gone in KDE4.
