I also have this annoying bug :-( I have the same problem as described above. The tranfer went without problems and when i'm going to check the file it has 0KB. :( *** Bug 117508 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Same problem here, files seem to transfer fine but the target file stays at 0. Very annoying. *** Bug 117638 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 118138 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I also see this - I did have Kopete compiled from source, but now I have the 3.5 version that comes with Gentoo. This is only when the remote user is using MSN Messenger 7.5. With 7.0 it's working fine. I recently tested with both and capture packet with Ethereal. Packets looks kinda the same. It will be hard to track the bug, and I know nothing about MSN P2P protocol :\ This bug is a duplicate of 113525 Thanks for noticing, marking as duplicate. If you voted for this bug, please be sure to transfer your votes to the other bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 113525 *** Happens to me on ArchLinux as well, using Arch's binary package I also have this problem. I would think the problem lies in the handshaking to end the file transfer not happening properly with MSN 7.5 because the files send just fine until they finish. Very unfortunate that MSN can't just play by the rules. |
