This seems to work fine here with KDE 3.5.2 This particular file looks fine, but I see same problem on http://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg21/docs/papers/2006/n1940.pdf Using 'Print to file (PDF)' from kdiff3 and then reviewing the ~/print.pdf file produces a whole bunch of:
