Description Stefan Borggraefe 2005-11-18 12:21:51 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I'm using the KDE 3.5RC1 packages from

http://pkg-kde.alioth.debian.org/kde-3.5-rc1

Before this I used the KDE packages from Debian sid. Since I upgraded to KDE 3.5RC1 the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Enter to open a selected link in a new tab doesn't work anymore. Instead the selected link is just opened in the same tab.

I can confirm this bug (Gentoo 3.5_rc1 and in Kubuntu as well). It is quite annoying and makes keyboard browsing almost impossible.

The same since KDE 3.5.
Debian Sid with Alioth packages.

Hi there, it's been over half a year now, this must be easy to fix :-)) Using keyboard for browsing is now much more difficult, when Ctrl-Enter does not work. And it does not seem configurable - at least I cannot find it.

If it's easy, send us a patch.
