Setting the 'Use a specific target compression' and 'Resize target images' checkboxes are both not selected in the export dialog Album page, the images should be just copied and not treated in any way.  the export dialog. In fact they are recompressed.
I have certain use cases where I want my images just copied 1 to 1.

The description seems to refer to imagesgallery and not gallery export, so
I move there, this bug. Anyway since imagesgallery is not supported anymore and there is a similar wish into html export plugin, this bug has to b closed.
Please Col and reporter if my considarations are wrong reopen it.

Fixed with bug #128341
