You mean that information should be stored in KWallet. Please be aware that ANY program can retrieve the contents of the clipboard, so hiding the entry is no security at all. Okay. But I always copy my passwords from a text file to the clipboard. I cannot remember words like Js8d5msX9jzp2a11, Its too long for my brain ;-) I know its not secure, but more secure than I do at the moment. Well, its not just for passwords, maybe for URLs and Codetemplates! Whatever... KWallet. I don't like it. Yes, I'd like to have a possibility to store some entries permanently (i.e. URLs, email addresses etc.). I imagine it could work like that: * click on Klipper to show all stored items, * right-click on the item you'd like to store permanently, and choose: - store this item for this session only, - store this item permanently. I imagine something like this would be quite useful. |
