Please, could you re-test against the newer Konqueror version like 3.5.9 and 4? I no longer have an access to this machine, so I cannot check it. Created attachment 31463 [details]
ID box doesn't let you enter a username/password
Although this problem have been reported for KDE 3.4 , I now get the same problem with KDE 4.2 with Mandriva Cooker. Until KDE 4.1, I did not have this kind of problem : I have always been asked the password for my proxy server, but now I'm not. In addition, the identification box in konqueror is greyed out, see the attached image.
Additional information : it seems libkntlm doesn't work properly. Here's what I get in my ~/.xsession-errors : kio_http(31510)/kio_http_debug HTTPProtocol::configAuth: Unsupported or invalid authorization type requested kio_http(31510)/kio_http_debug HTTPProtocol::configAuth: Proxy URL: KUrl("http://proxy.myproxy.be:8080") kio_http(31510)/kio_http_debug HTTPProtocol::configAuth: Request Authorization: "NTLM" kio_http(31510)/kio (TCPSlaveBase) KIO::TCPSlaveBase::disconnectFromHost: kded(30407)/kio (KIOJob) KIO::SlaveInterface::dispatch: error 108 "Unknown Authorization method!" I can confirm this in Konqueror 4.5.1. Have to use Firefox meanwhile :( I'm not having this problem anymore with KDE 4.6 beta. Can anyone else confirm it? (In reply to comment #6) > I'm not having this problem anymore with KDE 4.6 beta. Can anyone else confirm > it? This should work fine now. I spent a good couple of fixing NTLM related bugs with a generous and patient user who provided access to his servers for me to test against. Anyhow, if you still have such problems with KDE 4.6 and up, feel free to reopen this ticket. |
